A proposal is a formal, detailed document that outlines a plan or suggestion for others to consider and discuss as a solution to a problem. It is written in the present and future tense.
How To Write A Proposal.
Write an introductory statement of purpose. This paragraph introduces a high-level overview or summary of the proposal.
Follow it up with body paragraphs. Here are the body paragraphs. The goals and objectives paragraph describes why the plan was created, what is the problem, and why it's being shared, why identifying the problem and looking at this plan as a solution matters. The process paragraphs discuss parameters that were taken into consideration when determining a plan. Discuss methods of testing that helped determine this plan as the best course of action. Lastly, the results paragraphs. Evaluate the results and, or discuss the critical thinking, connecting the dots, that led to the creation of this plan. Lastly, the conclusion paragraph. Conclude the overall plan with a call to action by the reader.
