During the summer after my second grade, I was terrified! I had not yet memorized the timestable, and I knew my teacher would quiz me at the beginning of the new school year. I imagined the humiliation that awaited me. That sums up why I devoted my life to making learning easier.
I progressed from a Bachelor's in cognitive psychology to a Master's in educational psychology and a love for technology. I knew that improving education at scale was to intersect educational pedagogy with technology. I brought together some of the top minds in learning, artificial intelligence, and educational technology to develop strategies for using technology to improve education. Over the years, we created over thirty e-learning products published by Prentice-Hall, Inc., and LifeLong.com. These products won international awards, including an honorable mention from the U.S. government's Information and Infrastructure Awards and Top Ten Educational Software in China from the Chinese Department of Education.
But I wanted something better. As envisioned by futurist Alan Kay, I wanted a digital tutor at my fingertips!
